Hey, I’m Melissa.

Straight out of college, I dove headfirst into the creative industry, spending 13 years working in-house at agencies (which in dog years is… a lifetime).

I’m a builder at heart so business development has always been a natural fit for me.

I spent a decade at an indie brand consultancy in NYC as an intrapreneur, building a business within a business. I experimented, codified, and implemented the systems we needed to be more efficient when it came to growth.

Over time, the traditional model started to frustrate me. The relentless hustle culture, the chaos, and the sacrifices demanded for growth just didn’t sit right. Like so many of my peers, I eventually burnt out and had to take a break.

But this problem of agencies burning out to grow stuck with me and I became obsessed with fixing it.

These days when I’m not helping founders build businesses they love, you can find me window-shopping my next trip abroad, listening to a podcast while walking my dog or experimenting with a new recipe in my kitchen.

But enough about me…
